CITY OF KELOWNA GRANTS
The Central Okanagan Foundation administers the following granting programs on behalf of the City of Kelowna:
COMMUNITY SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT GRANTS
The purpose of the Community Social Development Grant program is to make funding available to registered non-profit organizations and community organizations offering socially beneficial services or programs in the City of Kelowna.
In 2025, the Central Okanagan Foundation will administer the Community Social Development Grants on behalf of the City of Kelowna.
We encourage registered charities, non-profit organizations interested in applying for a Community Social Development grant to participate in an information session on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. Pacific Safety Products Boardroom at the Rotary Centre for the Arts, 421 Cawston Ave. The session will cover program updates that could impact the application process.

EMERGENCY GRANTS
Emergency grants may be available to registered charities offering social programs in Kelowna. The purpose of these grants is to assist organizations through a financial crisis. Any monies granted will be short-term bridging funding only and will depend on the availability of funds in the Social Development Grant reserve. Grants will not exceed $5,000.
APPLY FOR A GRANT
FINAL REPORT
Successful applicants to the City of Kelowna Community Social Development Grant program must provide a final report to the Central Okanagan Foundation within 30 days of the end of the grant term.
Receipt of a completed report is a pre-condition for future eligibility in any cCty of Kelowna grant program. Final reports may also be considered as part of the assessment of any future applications by the organization.
