2018 Community grants information session

In 2018, the Central Okanagan Foundation will administer the Community Social Development Grants on behalf of the City of Kelowna.

The Central Okanagan Foundation encourages registered charities, non-profit organizations interested in applying for a Community Social Development grant to attend an information session on Wednesday, January 17.2018 at 1:30 p.m. in the Pacific Safety Products Boardroom at the Rotary Centre for the Arts, 421 Cawston Ave.

2018 Community Social Development Grant Application

The Central Okanagan Foundation administers the following granting programs on behalf of the City of Kelowna:


The purpose of the Community Social Development grants program is to make available funding to registered non-profit organizations and community organizations offering socially beneficial services or programs in the City of Kelowna. The application deadline is 3:30 p.m. on Friday, February 23rd, 2018.


Emergency grants may be available to registered charities offering social programs in Kelowna, for the purpose of assisting the organizations through a financial crisis. Any monies granted will be short-term bridging funding only and will depend on the availability of funds in the Social Development Grant Reserve. Grants will not exceed $5,000.
